Michter's Whiskey Tasting Event

Newberry Bros. Coffee & Prohibition Bourbon Bar is proud to announce our Michter’s Whiskey Tasting Event on Thursday, December 5th, from 6:30PM - 9:00PM. For our final tasting event of 2024, we are thrilled to welcome Michter’s Master of Maturation ANDREA WILSON as our special guest.

Your tasting ticket will include a Welcome Drink and Light Hors d’oeuvres, followed by a Guided Tasting led by ANDREA WILSON, featuring the following whiskeys: Michter’s US*1 Bourbon, Michter’s US*1 Rye, Michter’s Sour Mash, Michter’s Toasted Barrel Finish Bourbon, Michter’s 10yr Bourbon, Michter’s 10yr Rye, and Bomberger’s Declaration Kentucky Straight Bourbon.

About ANDREA WILSON:

Andrea is Michter's Master of Maturation as well as its Chief Operating Officer. As Michter's Master of Maturation, Andrea manages barrel specifications, barrel procurement, heat cycling and temperature monitoring during aging, tracking maturation of barrels, whiskey filtration in preparation for bottling, and innovation to continue to improve the aging process.

Andrea has achieved many honors during her illustrious career, including being the first woman to ever serve as Chair of the Kentucky Distillers’ Association and being welcomed into The Kentucky Bourbon Hall of Fame. Andrea is admired for her many accomplishments in the whiskey industry and has been involved in all aspects of making Michter’s the “Most Admired Whiskey in the World.”
